Who is EEBA?

The Energy & Environmental Building Alliance (EEBA) is one of the oldest and most respected residential building education organizations in the USA. Our history of providing insight, collaboration and education to builders and designers seeking to construct resource efficient, durable, healthy homes spans over 30 years. Today, EEBA delivers live trainings with expert educators throughout the United States on the most effective ways to implement water and energy efficiency, building science best practices, and high performance housing envelope and mechanical systems into single and multifamily homes.

For over 30 years, EEBA has built a foundation as the leading resource for information and education for sustainable building. We believe in the power of live, face to face training as an effective method for builders and designers to learn while collaborating and sharing experiences. EEBA's educational program travels throughout the US making it possible for building professionals to attend without incurring undue travel expenses and time away from the site or office. We offer sessions from foundational building science to advanced mechanical systems, zero energy homes and energy code trainings tailored to the climate and market conditions of each location we visit.

Our Annual High Performance Home Summit showcases cutting edge research and best practices of high performance housing. The time to dramatically accelerate the creation of high performance homes is now.  EEBA can no longer be satisfied with (only) the dissemination of building science information.  The new mission is to educate and inspire building professionals so they leave our events convinced that it is in their own interest to more effectively build and more successfully sell high performance homes at a far greater pace.
